Obituary of Larry Riley

Larry D. Riley Jr., age 41 passed away on May 9, 2024. Born to Larry Sr. and Leslie Riley on October 16, 1982 in Poughkeepsie, he spent his whole life here in the Hudson Valley with friends and family.

After graduating from Ketcham High School, he received a bachelor’s degree from Marist College. While attending high school and college and after graduating, he held several positions in banking and sales. In his free time, Larry was often out taking pictures, playing the piano or at a car show as an avid car enthusiast.  You may have even seen him flying a plane over the Hudson Valley as he thoroughly enjoyed having his pilot’s license.

Larry is survived by both his father Larry Sr. of Clinton Corners and his mother Leslie Riley of Poughkeepsie, his sister Laurissa and her husband Joseph Virgadamo of Marlboro along with his nephews Joseph Jr. and Lorenzo. He leaves behind multiple uncles, aunts, and cousins, as well.

 A celebration of Larry’s life will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 1PM to 3PM at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
