Obituary of Anthony DePaola

Anthony E. DePaola, 87 died Tuesday June 4, 2024, peacefully at home. He was a resident of Poughkeepsie NY. He was born August 15, 1936, in Poughkeepsie NY to Rocco and Jean DePaola. He was a graduate of Poughkeepsie Central School District in 1954 and then served proudly served in the United States Navy. He retired in 2002 from the Dutchess County Board of Elections. He was a member of the American Legion, the Italian Center and the Elks Lodge where he was a past exalted ruler. He was predeceased in death by his parents: Rocco and Jean DePaola, also by his wife Judith P. DePaola. He is survived by his three children, Michele Ottaviano and her husband David of Georgetown TX, Kathy Cafaro and her husband Gerry of Poughkeepsie NY, and Michael DePaola of Highland NY. Three grandchildren Nicholas, Noelle, Joseph and Nicole. Three great-grandchildren Lucas, Julian, and Erik Ottaviano.
