He was kind, and such a giving person. Hardworking and ready at a moments notice for anyone. I'm so happy to have known him for as long as I did. His family was everything to him. I'm so sorry to the family for your loss. Jill

I have to say what a blow to our little Rascal gang. I remember when we would dirt no matter who house we tried to hide at we would be on punishment no matter whose house we ended up at. I remember Leos pancake breakfast and us trying to make eggs, I hated on Saturdays you always like getting up EARLY to go into whatever Adventure the day held.
It was like a second home at his house and he was like a brother.
It Used to annoy everone when you suck your thumb and want to play in the ear or hair.
I was always confused when you would say to your own brother or sister my mommy until I realized she was all of our mommy.
We were Ninjas, entrepreneurs, casino boss, criminals, engineers, and inventors sometimes all in 1 day at 1 time.
Even when there was beef we came back together eventually.
Although our gang, George, Devin, Spike, Doug, BOOG, BOOP, Andy LABO(RIP) ... all went different ways whenever we came back together it was like we never separated from one another.
Love you Love Love hold that last note on that trumpet until the last one of us gets there.
To Mrs Tracy, Kieth, Asaline, Tasha and family.
Earth has no sorry that heaven can not heal.
Love Robert Brooks Jr (Spike)

Curt, my friend, my brother... so many good times and memories that I will treasure forever. It's never enough time....I guess that's why we always made the best of every opportunity when we got together.
The energy and excitement that you gave to us was amazing and contagious.... never a dull moment with you. I will miss hearing you say "What's up Dizzle !!"
"If I could make Heaven wait, I would find a way to ask God if he had made some mistake...and if He'd save your wings for another day..."
I will see you later bro... down the road.
Much Love.....

I remember Curtis and his family as our neighbor and soon to be family - he was also my little brother George's friend and some of the kids didn't like that they were friends and they would set them up to fight - but each and every time they fought they would be right back friends again. But isn't that how family works anyway. My deepest condolences to the family. Peace & Love - Billy Parrella

Our Journey started in 2nd grade. He had a couple nick names Love Love, ITs but most the time I called him Curtis. He was smarter than most people realized as he was a year younger than me but in the same grade. There wasn't to much of anything that scared him as he was full of adventure. I remember converting a shopping cart into a go-cart, with no breaks or steering going down the hill in the middle of the street blowing through the stop sign and cross traffic. I have so many memories with my brother. Love You until we meet again. George Parrella

Dear Curtis,
Thank you bro. Thank you for being my best friend, for walking me through the times in life when I needed you. It's been an honor being your friend. From seeing you get to your babies at all costs, hearing about the kid's school work, all the way through planning our retirement. And now you're not here.
We were so the same - same name, same love for family, same childhood, same job, same, same. And now you're not here.
I was so blessed to be your friend. And now you're not here and I'm sad. Forever in my heart, we're connected forever. You'll always be my bro. I love you.
Sincerely,
Curtis

Curtis was such a charismatic soul. I worked with him in Albany and remember seeing him come into the office was like watching a local celeb walk in. He made us laugh. He kept us engaged. Rest in peace king.

(Mayor Torrance R. Harvey) Curtis became one of my great friends at Columbus Elementary School in Poughkeepsie, NY. We could share a laugh together and that laugh would last forever. We went on to middle school & high school together as well. My twin brother & I thought Curtis had the coolest & strongest big brother too Keith. Big brothers were important growing up in tough cities. He was a big brother too with having a little sister. Later in life we’d see one another as adults in Newport Barbershop. We would hug and share great memories there and catch up on life. Curtis will be remembered forever. My condolences to his entire family. We love this brother like he was our own brother. Fly high Curt.
