Obituary of Barbara Davis

Barbara J. Davis, 79, of Poughkeepsie passed away on July 24, 2024. Born on September 6, 1944 to Louis and Grace (Williams) Swartz, Barbara lived in Poughkeepsie her whole life.

As a Loving mother and home maker, Barbara leaves behind her children, Gerald (Barbara) Davis of Pleasant Valley, Warren (Freda) Davis of Labraye, and Kevin (Lixai Sun) Davis From the Town of Poughkeepsie, several grandchildren, Warren Jr, James Turner, Keith, Richard Duncan and Crystal Horne along with her two great-grandchildren Brooke and Jacob. Her sister Juanne Miller of North Carolina will also miss her.

She was previously deceased by her life partner Teddy Furinga, brother David Allen Swartz, Arlene Lewis, Betty Greem, Sandra Swartz, Shirley Lastter, and Judy Verch.

Calling Hours for Barbara Davis will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024 from 2 till 4 pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, N.Y.  Burial will take place at the families convenience.
