Obituary of Frank Morgan

Frank Morgan, 85, passed away on September 18, 2024 in Poughkeepsie, New York. Frank was born in Manhattan on November 14, 1938, to John and Mary (Mathews) Morgan.

After High school Frank went to work for Bedford Correctional Facility where he worked as an operating engineer, eventually retiring in 1992.

Frank met then married Laila Nilsen on January 29, 1966, in White Plains, where they stayed happily married until her death in 2010.

Frank is survived by his daughter Jane and Kurt Gullery of Poughkeepsie, and their sons,  Matthew Gullery of Lake Tahoe and Stephen (Alyssa) Gullery of Kentucky. He is also survived by Lisa and Jason Korpics of Newburgh, Emma Korpics and her husband Joel Williams of North Carolina, and Charles and Kristi Korpics of Walden.

Frank loved his family and enjoyed spending his retirement with them.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, From 10 to 1 at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home in Poughkeepsie, New York. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude’s Hospital in his honor.
