Obituary of Antonio W. Montalvo

Antonio W. Montalvo, Tony, Born 11-29-1979. Passed away unexpectedly but Peacefully in his sleep 10-10-2024. Tony had many loves & interests including Sky diving, hiking, collecting antiques  glasses and art.  He enjoyed the holiday season but especially fall and Halloween. He was a fan of paranormal and horror movies.  He enjoyed decorating and baking with his family. He was a CNA for many years at the Hyde Park Nursing Home, and the Eden Park Nursing Home. He had a huge heart. He always thought of others and always offered a helping hand and emotional support to those close to him and any strangers who crossed his path. He also loved animals, volunteered in his young adult life at the SPCA and loved his cats.  He is survived by his Mother Laura Amesse , Brother Elijah N Montalvo , Nephew Matthew R Doyle , Nephew Elijah N Montalvo  , Sister Faith Ruiz-Guido & Brother-in-law Mike Guido , Niece Liliana M Guido , Nephew Julian M Guido ,  Niece Gabriella G Guido , Sister Alisha Montalvo , Sister Grace J  Montalvo , Brother Asher Montalvo. His nephew Edward Montalvo , Gianella Montalvo & Giovanni Morero. He is pre-deceased by his stepfather Nemesio(Willie) Ruiz SR , Brother Nemesio Ruiz JR , Grandmother Laura Plass,  Father Antonio J Montalvo , Grandfather Jose Martinez & Grandmother Helen Martinez. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to Mid-Hudson Animal Aid, or Toys for Tots.  We ask in honor of Tony to lend a helping hand  and be compassionate to those who may need it. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday October 26, 2024, at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home located at 371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie NY 12603, from 12:00p.m. to 2:00p.m.
