Obituary of William A Gearhart

William "Bill" Allen Gearhart passed away unexpectedly in Poughkeepsie, NY on November 6 , 2024. He was 50 years old. Bill was Born in Poughkeepsie, NY on July 4, 1974 and lived a full life in his short time as a man with many passions, careers, and character. Bill's first love was his children, Hudson and Hunter. He loved nothing more than being their Dad. Bill's second love was fishing. An avid and accomplished fisherman, Bill was a guide and licensed captain. Bill also worked on underground pipelines that allowed him to travel the country. Later he became a union journeyman plumber and pipe fitter. Bill had his CDL license and could drive and fix anything. Bill was also an avid sports fan and loved the Mets. 

Bill is survived by his children, Hudson and Hunter Gearhart and their mother Dalia. He is also survived by his mother Carol Gearhart, sister Kimberly King, as well as niece and nephew Mikayla and Aidan Browne. He was predeceased by his beloved father, David Gearhart.  

Funeral services will be held at Doyle's Funeral Home in Poughkeepsie,NY on November 15th. Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm with the memorial service beginning at 4pm. Rest in Peace, Billy.  You were loved tremendously and will be forever missed, but never forgotten. Fish on!
