Kimberly Jeanne King passed away December 20th 2024 in Poughkeepsie NY. Kim was 45 years old and born in Poughkeepsie NY on October 14th 1979, she lived her life to the fullest in every way possible and never took anything for granted. Throughout her life, sadly cut short, she got her bachelors degree from Suny New Paltz and then her masters for special education at Mount St. Mary College. Years later Kim decided she would do something new and got her masters degree in social working from Adelphi University. She showed everyone that no matter the age, you have the power to be who ever you want. She changed so many lives in her short time as a therapist and so many people are grateful for everything she’s done for them. She was the devoted wife of Casey King whom she spent most of her time with. They took every adventure together and walked it hand in hand. Kim was also the caring mother of Mikayla and Aidan Browne, her pride and joy and she theirs. Everyone knew that she would move the world for her two babies. She was the loving daughter of Carol “Brenda” and Dave Gearhart the two people responsible for giving life to Kim and letting her flourish as a person along with her brother Bill Gearhart a noble man who loved to share his joys with his sister. Lastly, Kim was the warmhearted and passionate friend of so many people such as Aaron Browne the man she grew up with since age 18 and the father of her two children. Although they weren’t good lovers, they were the best of friends. Many people loved Kim and she will be forever missed.
