Ralph Duncan’s Obituary
Ralph T. Duncan aka Soul, a loving father, son, husband and friend has sadly passed away at the age of 67 on December 30, 2024 surrounded by his children, friends and family.
Ralph was born in the City of Poughkeepsie to Beatrice Duncan and William Duncan. He graduated from Poughkeepsie High School, attended Morgan State University and completed several training hours toward becoming a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC). As a high school student he excelled at every sport he played.
Ralph’s kind heart allowed him to help those around him and his intelligence could fix any problem. Ralph truly enjoyed working in the human services field because he valued the opportunity to give back and help others navigate life. He worked at a few homeless shelters and substance abuse centers in the City of Albany. He loved his jobs because they empowered him to be a positive role model for others.
His life was a testament to determination and a deep love for his family and friends.
Ralph is survived by his wife and friend, Mrs. Regina Duncan; his 5 children - Terrance Hill Raheem Hill, Ebonie Duncan, Brendea Bailey, and Carmen Duncan; his bonus daughter, Dakesha Bailey; 5 stepdaughters; 17 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
