We send our most sincere condolences to Marilyn and their family and friends. My wife and I met Ron just once when Marilyn attended a college reunion. Ron immediately became a friend. His most pleasant personality and smile etched in our memory how special Ron was to all who knew him. Ron and Marilyn are in our prayers very day. Heaven gets nicer with his presence. Sonny is truly one of the best creatures to ever walk God's green earth. He has been a wonderful example to me for the kind of person/parent/Christian I strive to be. My most haunting teenage memory of him was when he dug a splinter out of my butt with a huge knife while mom & dad held me down on the kitchen table. Thank you Sonny for the truly wonderful life you displayed and gave to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing you!
