Sorry to hear about your loss. I knew Billy from the Italian Center and he was a great guy. He was always willing to help out no matter what and everytime that I stopped by the center it was almost guaranteed that I'd see him there. I just spent some time looking at our Senior Year's High School Yearbook. I read Billy's quote, his memories, his last will and testament...these things are what most of us will remember about Billy. Innocence, humor, love of life... I feel a tremendous loss and I haven't seen him in years. O.L.L. Class of '88 was a close group and I am sure we are all feeling your loss with you. This is a very sad day... My utmost condolences to Billy' entire family.

There are no words. I remember meeting Billy so many years ago during CYO track or basketball or maybe both. My prayers and thoughts are with the DeMattio family during this difficult time. I graduated with William from Our Lady of Lourdes in 1988. He was truly a wonderful person. He always put a smile on my face when I saw. I know he was a wonderful son, husband, and also someone who his children could always look up to. I came across a quote a while back which says: "Why does it take a second to say hello but it takes forever to say goodbye?" William will be truly miss but I know he's having a great time in heaven.
