Dear Celie, Ronda, Marcia and Beth, I was so sad to hear of your mother's passing. She was so much fun to be around and always made me laugh whenever I got down to Poughkeepsie and saw her. I remember all the good times we spent with your family when we were all little, at Copake, and of course when I babysat all four of you (with Celie being the ringleader of course). I'm so very sorry for the loss of your mother. Have known her for many years. we had so much fun during that time. I've always had great respect for her and the kindness she had for others. especially her love for animals. Rose always had a house full of pets and everyone was welcome there. I will miss her. She was a wonderful lady with an easy-going temperament, always good-natured & accepting of things. As a child and a teenager I especially appreciated her love of animals, and it was always fun to visit her house and have the resident goose fly out hissing to greet you!

So sorry to have read about Rose.I worked at OTB for years so I was very fortunate to know your mother. Rose was always one of my favorites. we had many enjoyable conversations over the years. She would also be there to feed the cats in the parking lot. I retired last december so I hadn't seen your mom since then. My sympathy and prayers are with all of you.
