Dear Susan and Ellen, God bless you both with His love and peace at this sad time ~ think on your many happy memories. I still remember when we were kids and visited your home at Christmas time ~ beautiful decorated tree and pretty wrapped gifts - some things you never forget. Your Mother was so sweet, and always had a smile that made everyone around her feel good ~ what a lovely lady. We are very sorry for the loss of your beloved mother, grandmother and companion. I will always remember her great sense of humor and outlook on life. Emmajean saw a lot in her almost 97 years and she was a wonderful story teller. Remember all the good times and let those memories bring you comfort.

Dear Susan and Ellen, so very sorry for your Mother's passing. When I spoke to her in December she still sounded like herself and her wonderful sense of humor. She could remember and tell jokes more than any other person I know. Having grown up knowing her and your Father, even though we lived in Kingston, our family gatherings were special and, with age, I appreciate the memories of those gatherings either at your home or my Mother's. Emmajean was a treasured member of our extended family and I will never forget her and her last Christmas card to me, 'Keep in touch, I love you, Emmajean' and her lovely note written more like the schoolteacher she was than a 96 year old woman. Dear Ellen and family, Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. It's never easy to lose a loved one, no matter the age, as you know, but with love and support surrounding you, you'll get through it.
