Obituary of Stephen Cox

Stephen J. Cox, age 49, of Poughkeepsie, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center of Poughkeepsie, NY. Stephen was born November 18, 1963 in Norwood, MA. He is the son of the late Warren and Helen (Cody) Cox. He married Kathleen Manfredi on June 11, 1988 at St Martin DePorres Church Poughkeepsie. He was employed by IBM East Fishkill as a Manager. Stephen had his Masters Degree in Business management from Mount Saint Mary's College. Stephen was a member of Town of Poughkeepsie Soccer Club Poughkeepsie New York. He had a love for all sports, especially Soccer. He was a avid fan of Liverpool Football Club and he loved the NY Yankees, NY Jets and NY Rangers He is survived by his wife: Kathleen(Manfredi) Cox three sons: Sean D. Cox of Poughkeepsie, NY, Ryan J. Cox of Poughkeepsie, NY, Timothy M. Cox of Poughkeepsie, NY; his mother Helen (Cody) Cox-Clark; Brother and Sister In-law, Nicholas J. and Dawn M. Cox of Poughkeepsie, NY; Sister and Brother In-law, Cynthia A. and Gary R. Lester of Denton, TX; Sister and Brother In-law, Debra J. And Glen W. Priest of Dayton, OH; Sister and Brother In-law, Margarita L. and Michael J. Durso of Laurel Maryland, Mother In-law, Angela Manfredi of Purdy's, NY. and several nieces and nephews. Calling Hour will be Thursday November 29, 2012 from 4pm to 8pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie New York 12603. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Friday, November 30, 2012 at St. Martin DePorres Church, Cedar Valley Road, Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Poughkeepsie..
