Dear Family, I wish that so many miles did not separate us at this time. An e-mail seems so little. If Peter's grandson, Matt, my son-in-law, is an result of elder leadership, then Peter must have been a kind, gentle, and wonderful man. I wish that I could have known him. I am lighting a candle here in his memory and will send a gift to St. Jude's in Tennessee. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow--and of celebration--of the life he lived.
