I don't remember how it all started but for as long as I can remember my Granddad would always make me french toast with scrambled eggs and it was called Punch in the Nose. When I was little he would cook it while I sat in bed and visited or read with my Grandma and when I heard him coming I would hide under the blankets and he would come in and ask my Grandma where I was and then he would sit on me and make a comment about how lumpy the bed had gotten since he woke up. This is one of my favorite stories about my Granddad. I'll always miss the way he would make me laugh, but I'll always have Punch in the Nose.
