Obituary of Dawn House Baker
Dawn Marie House Baker of Pleasant Valley, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 she was 45 years old.
Dawn was born on September 26, 1967, in Poughkeepsie, New York. She was the daughter of Joan D. Travis House and the late John A. House, Jr. She attended Wappingers Schools and was a former employee o f the NYS Department of Corrections.
Dawn was married first to Scott Nenni and later to Lawrence Baker both of whom survive.
Dawn id survived by her children, Lindsey A. Nenni-Whelan of Pleasant Valley and Scott Nenni Jr. of Wappingers Falls; her mother Joan D. House of Poughkeepsie; three sisters, Sheryll House of Wappingers Falls, Wendy House Cobb and Helen House Boulanger both of Poughkeepsie; one brother, Timothy House of Poughkeepsie; two adored grandchildren, Matthew John Nenni and Athena Selene Whelan; seven nieces and nephews, two great nephews, a great niece, several aunts and uncles and numerous cousins.
Friends are invited to say their farewells on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 between 4pm and 6pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York. Services will immediately follow the visitation. Final arrangements will take place at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (www.lls.org) or the Paralyzed Vets of America (www.pva) in Dawn's honor.
