Always a welcome visitor at the store, he knew my name and I knew his... (Kinda easy I guess) He was always friendly and chatted about all that was good in life. I was so sorry to see this today. What a great loss. He so loved what he was doing and will be missed by friends and neighbors. He had won a hard fought battle with cancer, only to be taken so suddenly. So very sorry.

So sorry for your loss. Bill was very special to us. We met Bill when he was in his 20's and lived in Sam's family homeplace in Wendell, NC. He and Shelly were like family to us. Since his move back to New York, when he would return to NC he would stop by and visit with Emily and the grandbaby. We were always so happy to see him. So sad to hear this. He will be greatly missed.
