Frida, became a member of our family when my sister Lu, moved to Poughkeepsie.
The boys would go and visit her in the late afternoon for "tea time" for Aunt Frida's special cookies and rolls.
Her heart was so generous and kind, and women who lived the gospel in all her actions
I know she has special place in heaven. Thank you for sharing your mother with our family

Joy ~ sorry about the passing of your Mom. I have so many wonderful memories of growing up next door. Memories too of visiting your Mom with Dwight and our sons. There was always chocolate chip cookies in the fridge! Our prayers and love to you, Tim, all your sisters and family. I would like to send my heartfelt condolences to the entire family. Though it will not be possible for me to attend the funeral, I wanted to express my sadness over the loss of a wonderful person. "Aunt Frida," as we called her, was my next door neighbor from the day I was born until my relocation earlier this year. My brother and I did not know our grandmothers, but she was very much like one to us, and we considered her a part of our family. She will be missed.
