I remember us playing with dinosaurs together with Joshua Rook. They were the old fashioned plastic ones that you could toss around and scratch up without worrying about hurting them. That was a lot of fun.
I remember swimming in a kiddie pool and we were mermaids and Brian was a dolphin. We made bows and arrows out of sticks and rubber bands and went "hunting". Brian was the wolf who chased us and I remember we got so scared we raced towards the big water tower that was in the backyard and was designated our "safety zone", where the wolf couldn't get us. It was sweet memories and Patty added so much guidance and encouragement. I will miss you Brian.

We're so very, very sorry for your loss. Brian's life was too short for those left behind, but I like to believe this means his work here was done, and he gets to now move on to bigger and better things in the next life. I can see how many lives he touched during his time here, and while it's hard to not see him alive and smiling, we'll all see him again someday, when we get to our next lives. Again, we're so very sorry.

Dan and Patty: My heart goes out to you for the passing of your Son Brian. I am deeply sorrowed for your loss. However, I truly believe that when someone passes away who is close to us, we should not feel sorry for ourselves but instead be thankful for the times that we shared with that person and for having the privilege of knowing them. Please, find it in your hearts to not feel the pain and sorrow from your loss, but to feel Brian's energy, his inspiration and kindness and be honored by the fact that your Son was such a great person. God Bless you. With all my love, your Cousin Jeff.

We cannot imagine a feeling more painful than losing a child. Our words cannot express the sorrow we feel and our hearts go out you and family during this most difficult time. Life frequently does not make sense and losing someone as young as Brian is tragic. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
