Obituary of Brian Clark

Brian Daniel Clark, 26, of Wake Forest, NC, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Brian was born October 28, 1986 in Poughkeepsie, NY, and grew up in Lexington, KY, where he enjoyed playing many sports including hockey, baseball, soccer, football, golf, and skiing. He was an avid UK Wildcats basketball, New York Mets, and New York Giants fan. Brian attended Henry Clay High School in Lexington, KY, graduated from South Granville High School in Creedmoor, NC, and earned an associate degree from Vance-Granville Community College. He was currently a student in information technology. Brian most enjoyed spending cool summer days in the Adirondacks with his closest friends and family. He also loved playing guitar and hanging out by the campfire, and always made people around him smile with his wry sense of humor. Brian leaves behind his loving parents, Patricia McCourt Clark and Daniel Clark; his sister, Jennifer Clark Varghese; his brother-in-law, Alex Varghese; his girlfriend and soul mate, Amanda Wasylik; and a large extended family including his dearly loved grandmothers, aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom will miss him very much. He also leaves behind countless friends, teammates, and his beloved pets. Visitation will be from 5pm to 8pm Tuesday October 8, 2013 at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held 10am Wednesday October 9, 2013 at St. Martin DePorres Church Poughkeepsie, NY. A private burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Poughkeepsie at a later date. For all his Raleigh-area friends, there will be a memorial service to celebrate Brian's life at a date to be announced.
