My sincere condolences to the Dubetsky family. John was a neighbor when we still lived on Meadow Lane and hunted with us in the Catskills in the late 60's - 70's. We still have "Duber's Knoll" named after him on the property. He got us into minibikes, motorcycles, snowmobiles and other great stuff. God Bless him.

To the Dubetsky Family, I would like to express condolences to your family in the passing of your father. My mother also passed away last summer. I know that you will always miss your parents, but I hope it helps to know that your father is now closer with your mother.

I worked with John for many years in IBM's Field Engineering department, and will always remember his great sense of humor ... and his pipe way back when?? It was an honor to have known him. Stay strong during this difficult time for your family ... my sincere sympathy. Sally Waldorf

John was one of my very few male influences. He taught me to whistle when I was two. He taught me to ride a motorcycle, in the woods of central PA, as a teen, and the only one whose shorts remained unknotted when I dumped his bike in front of all. He taught me automotive magic around the same time. All this served me well. Although, due to distance, we rarely saw each other, I never saw anything I didn't like. I'll miss him.

Uncle Duber and I had a lot of shared interests including technology, science, history, firearms, foreign languages, politics, etc. and I'm really going to miss our conversations and debates that lasted well into the wee hours at deer camp. I've known so few people whose company and banter were so engaging and enjoyable. I'm going to miss him. - Chuck Goudy (nephew)
