Please accept my sincere condolences with the loss of your love one. May you take comfort in the wonderful promises at Isaiah 25:8, Revelation 21:4 & John 5:28,29. Be assured that death does not end it all! Those asleep in the Grave, will be awakened back to life on a restored paradise earth. God has put eternity in our hearts, so we will never have to die again! What a bright future is awaiting us!

Be strong and know that He is God. Above Him there is no other. Delight yourself in the ways of Him and He shall direct your paths. Its hard to accept the loss of such a beautiful person and even harder to understand why her. Yet we must remember that to be absent from this life is to be present in a better life. Brenda has moved on to a better life free of the cares and crimes of this wicked world. So while we will all miss her, just remember she is laughing and dancing and shouting and praising our God in her spirit form, now free from her earthly body. Let her life song be your strength to carry on as she would have you all to do. And as much as we all love those who pass on, we must remember, God Loved them first, and God loves them best. Rest in peace dear sweet cousin as you join those who have gone on before you. There is truly a celebration going on in the Heavens! Renee'

To the McKinnon family, but especially Rashina and Shikeea, my deepest heartfelt sympathies on the passing of your Mom. Many good memories exist in my mind of both of you as my students at VAS and the conferences I had with your Mom. She was a caring, concerned and interested parent and I always knew I had her support while teaching her children. Thank you for that incredible opportunity. You are all in my prayers. Unfortunately I will not be able to personally render my respects to all of you as I will be out of town during her services. Know however, my prayers are with you and my hope is that your memories of your Mom will help you through this time. My best to you, Dan Kuffner

To Pastor Ollie, The Family, and Friends of Sis. Brenda McKinnon: The passing of a loved one is always a hard thing to endure, the overwhelming emptiness leaves us with a deep sense of loss. The feelings we face at this time are painful, but feel them we must. God, in His wisdom, has allowed this to remind us of how precious the gift of life is. Your loved one held a presence in your lives that is no longer filled. Because of her, and the unique qualities that she possessed, your lives were enhanced and given extra value. The moments of joy and happiness cannot be measured or counted. They are engraved in the memories of each experience that you shared. Her life will forever be a part of yours, and each of you have been made the better because of her. Nothing will ever take her place, but that is the thing that allows her to be remembered as well as missed. In time, the pain will fade and you will be left with only the love that will endure forever. Take hold of the love that you each hold dear, for God has also given it... for your strength... as well as your comfort.
