An Acknowledgment and in Memory of... When a person, who has had a strong personality for all the time during which you know them, goes through a transition due to something like cancer; it is difficult to watch the deterioration that takes place. Having known a person during earlier years and then to witness the atrophied essence, of who they once were, so close to the end of their time on this plane; makes one feel sad and helpless... So, at the time that person finally passes; one feels sad, yet a lift of sadness and a feeling of acceptance for the individual's release from their suffering and state of purgatory like limbo. My Mother-In-Law, Shelagh M. Russo, has passed away this afternoon, (Monday, Oct 6,2014). She suffered for a while, with her bout with cancer and now has gone to be with her husband (William A. Russo)... Rest in Peace Mom... She has a place in my heart and will be missed by those who loved her... (Shelagh M. Russo December 13, 1928 – October 6, 2014)
