Dear Joan, Pat, Cathy and families, I am so sorry for your loss. I only met your Mom a few times, but I remember her as being friendly, pleasant and always smiling. From stories Joan told me, she enjoyed life, and had fun going on trips,being in clubs, and being with her family. I know she will be missed by you all, but God has a special place in heaven for her, where she will be looking down on all of you as your guardian angel. Dear Family of Marie, I am so sorry to hear of Marie's passing. I hear her voice now as I write to you. Whether you called beforehand or just came to her door, the welcome was always a spectacular greeting of joy. You always knew how she loved you and your company and your stories. Marie also had a fabulous sense of humor and made you realize, "Life will go on," no matter what difficulty you were facing then. Marie's creativity was outstanding. I can still remember all of the projects done for you children and grandchildren in fun and vibrant colors. She knew how to express her love for you in all ways, with a hug, with a scarf, and with a smile.
