I worked with Felipe at my first professional job as an intern at the RBA Group in Manhattan when I was in college. Both summers Flip was a mentor to me as we counted cars studying traffic down Broadway and inspected bridges in Brooklyn. He was so much fun to work with, sharing crazy stories and making some new ones along the way. He watched out for me (I was rather naive) and was a kind teacher and friend. Thought I might find him on the internet tonight when I saw the sad news. Prayers for the Benitez family and for his eternal rest.

We were saddened to learn of Felipe's passing. It was very moving when he spoke so proudly of Antonio after the last performance of "Of Gods and Heroes" this past summer. We will miss Felipe.

To the Benitez Family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I've only known your family for the last couple of years. Last year Felipe helped me out with the snow. He felt sorry for me and used his snow blower to clear my driveway and sidewalk. I was so very appreciative and thankful. God bless your family. May God continue to watch over your family.

To the Benitez Family Some people touch our lives briefly, I worked with your father for a short time at Vassar...
