I can't imagine the hurt you all are feeling right now. Please know that while other humans, even our well-meaning family may not fully understand what we are going through, our Creator does. Remember he sent his Son to earth, who beforehand he spent aeons of years with, to die in behalf of mankind. From heaven he watched his beloved son undergo an agonizing death. He knows what it feels like to lose someone so close to him. Therefore, he invites you to "throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7) "Jehovah is close to the broken-hearted; he saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18; Psalm 83:18) Take advantage of this invitation as you await the day all in the grave are called by Jesus to "come out." (John 5:28, 29) Your beloved Robert now rests with the grand prospect of being among those resurrected to life in a world where "the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." (1 Corinthians 15:26) I hope you all take care and please accept my sincerest condolences at this most difficult time.
