Dear Suzie, Dennis, Karen and family, Very sorry for your loss. Just found out today. Please let me know if you need anything. Mr. Nowik (could never call him Walt, lol)was like a grandfather to me. I have so many good memories, I still think of him often. I remember him playing cards, drinking tea, and the cuckoo clock. He will always be part of my life. Very sincerely, Michael Davidson

Dear Denny, Suzy, Karen, and family, We were so sorry to learn today from Denny of Uncle Walt's death. He was a wonderful member of a strong and good family, and I am so sorry that now that entire older generation has passed. I thought of Uncle Walt as my "baby" Uncle, as much a cousin as an uncle. He was always so kind to me and to my family. And he gave us invaluable guidance when he helped my Dad, his older brother John Nowik, in his move up to be near us in Buffalo after my mother's death. I could always turn to him for wise advice. When he stayed with us, he'd have a cup a tea with our younger son John on our back porch. When we stayed with him he'd show us around the Polish cemetery near the house, where he took care of the family graves. He was a hunter and fisherman of enduringly youthful spirit, and we will all miss him. Barbara (Nowik), Jim, Joe and John Bono
