I remember Mrs. Gower very much. I was in her English class @ Poughkeepsie High School in 10th grade. She also was involved in a after school activity called A.F.S. American Field Service, which is a club meeting and getting to know foreign exchange students. I'm sad to hear she died from a terrible cancer. I recently loss my mother to cancer. Mrs. Grower loved her students. I was very glad to have her as my English teacher. I liked getting to know her during our after school activity with A.F.S. Mrs. Grower was a great lady. I will miss her. My condolences to the family. Xx
