Happy 90th birthday, Dad! We miss you and Mom so much. Not a day goes by that we don't talk about you both.
Love,

I worked in the same area for several years as Tom did. He was the most highly respected individual in the community of workers. He was extremely dedicated and a role model for others. I can remember one situation where I was in computer operations, and one of the main frames was having intermittent problems. Critical work was backed up for several days. The belief was that it was a hardware problem, but Tom as one of the key people with software experience stayed late at night several nights just to be available for questions or concerns from the hardware people. I also had the pleasure of playing on a softball team with him one season. He was a total team player always with a positive attitude. He also had the strongest arm from the outfield I had ever seen. I didn’t see him much in my later career, but I always remember his tremendous character.

Tom was my IBM project leader for four short years 45+ years ago. However, he made such a positive impression on me that I fondly remembered him throughout my IBM career and beyond. A wonderful man indeed. Rest in peace Tom.
