You were like a dad to me at one point in my life :( ..You took us to Disney, I remember being in that car for what seemed like forever! I remember Howe Caverns, the beach, making pizza, the one time I was chasing my brother and he chipped my tooth in the door and you and my mom tried to comfort me and stop me from screaming and gave me mint chocolate chip ice cream which didn’t help lol. The one time a bird got in the apartment and my mom freaked out and you trying to chase it out! I remember you picking a flower for me from the field and I loved that flower. I remember when you would come over late at night and I stayed up late to sneak downstairs and say hi and give you a picture I’d draw for you regardless of whether it meant my mom getting mad at me for not being in bed. The ridiculous nightmares I’d wake up to and go in to want to cuddle with you and mom for comfort like the one ridicuous time I woke up afraid of dental floss and you all thought I was nuts lol. I have so many great memories of my childhood because of you, because even though my brother and I weren’t your kids you treated us like we were. I don’t ever remember you raising your voice at us, you were always smiling and laughing and wanting to have fun and do things with us. I’ll miss you Sean, and I hope you knew how much I loved you like a dad even after all these years and would still think about these things now and then.
