Obituary of Donald John Sullivan

On Saturday, February 27th, 2021, Donald John Sullivan, loving husband and father, passed away in his home surrounded by family at the age of 69. Donnie was preceded in death by his father, John (Jack), and his mother, Virginia. He is survived by his wife Rosemarie, his five children Shannon, Tara, Ryan, Jonathan, and Loriel, his step-children Tom and Veneranda, his brother James, and eight grandchildren. Although he was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Donnie was known by all as a Poughkeepsie native. Donnie was famous for his larger-than-life sense of humor and had a love for fishing and hunting as well as spending time with friends, cousins, and his grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home located at 371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.
