Thank you, Sue, for the wonderful tribute to my Dad. I'm sure he loved reading it too from above. He was a very religious man so I know he is taking his role of "guardian angel" very seriously up there. Thank you for being my friend too. I keep you & Rudy in my prayers every day for good health, peace & joy.

Thank you, Jimmy. Funny, during the last few months he always called Robbie your name so you must have been on his mind. He really loved you too & used to have such fun kidding around with you. He always asked about you. Now, he can be his own special self in heaven w/ so many of all our relatives. Thank you for your sweet concern always. LY

What a beautiful and moving tribute to Dad! I remember how he always welcomed me into his home as a youth (and I was there a lot!). I have such wonderful memories of Bill and Dolores being such an integral part of growing up in the 60's! It was such a safe and loving environment for so many of us. I can't remember when there wasn't a "Bill and Dolores" cooking unbelievable meals along with extending their welcome mat always! We hope Dad is looking down and smiling at each of you knowing how much you loved him. Mark, Mom and me wish you comfort and joy in recalling the impact he had on your lives! Hugs to your family and a special hug for Mom!

Thank you, John, Mark & Ann. He was a special man and it is nice to know that others saw it too. You, John, was the son he never had. Your mom was always in my mom's heart too. Remember Winnikee Avenue! Talk to you soon & again thank you all so much for your flowers, your condolences & just being a part of our lives no matter where we live. Will always love you.

Dear Aunt Dolores, Sharon, Colleen and the entire Gleason Family,
Uncle Billy was a honest, trustworthy, loving and giving man. And if anyone thinks or says differently tell them "they're full of baloney"
As the "only blood uncle on my mother's side" he was respected and loved. Memories of his cookie closet, treats from Dunkin' Donuts, green onions from his garden and our conversations will be cherished. He will live forever in our hearts.
May God's love and peace surround you and comfort you,
Mary, Tommy and Elizabeth

Condolences to the Gleason family. I remember Mr. Gleason when he owned the Charter Oaks and I was a student at Dutchess Community College. His place was great for Friday lunches and a hangout for many of us. Always a really personable person.
