My heart is saddened hearing of Carol's passing.
I remember Carol well.I first met her years back at Jim Coombs office.
She and I always had a lot of laughs. It was usually about Jim or Steve or Tommy G.
She welcomed me into the group. Real Estate brought us together a lot.
Carol and I crossed paths again through my best friend Lizzy Giudice and their children,Christopher and Marlo.
Carol always was kind and would always welcome me at what ever function we were at, and there were many. She was so full of grace and love.
But the most touching gesture from Carol, that I will always remember, was the story of the Irish Soda Bread. Being Irish , My mother made the most delicious Irish soda bread you have ever had. Knowing my mom and Tom G. passed, Carol and the girls ask if I would like some Irish soda bread that year, they were making lots. I told her the story of never having any since mother passed, no one could make it like Mom. She had the girls bring me the best loaf of Irish soda bread since my Mom and Tommy G. Passed.
That Irish soda bread and the love that was put into it kept me going through the weeks after losing my my Tommy G..
Not only did Carol bring me the bread that Saint Patrick's day but,they brought bread to me every Saint Patrick's day for several years.....
I will never forget the love and the kindness and the welcoming heart that Carol had. I will cherish her friendship and her memory forever. God-bless you Carol.You will always be in my prayers and in my ❤heart
