Our condolences. I too remember the family outings. Us cousins did what kids do and then what teenagers do. Sue was a part of that fun. Love to Sue. Join in honoring their life - plant a memorial tree

It is so sad that Sue left us so early, our prayers go out to her family during these very difficult times. We all thought that Sue would pull through again, she was tough and never complained.
Ann (my sis) and I would love to share some memories of Sue..........
Ann, Kathy, Sue and I met when we were still sucking our thumbs. This is why we consider ourselves cousins. Our parents met while settling in Verbank. Our Dads went into business together with a garbage route, pretty resourceful of them. We had German Shepherds, which I believe, were our babysitters. Our weekends were spent in our backyards with casseroles, three-legged races, horse shoes, bottles of beer (sugar water for us kids) lots of card games and Easter Egg hunts in the middle of July As we grew up we all looked forward to our annual summer vacations at Lake George. Now we both had brothers too.
One week of fun and adverntures shared with their cousins Ralph and Barbara on their boat (always needed fixing) jumping the wake of the others boats, swimming, smoke bombs, sandcastles, exploring off limit resorts (Hello Sagamore ) water skiing and always getting into a bit of trouble while our parents solved the worlds' problems. I believe we are banned from certain resorts to this day.
Then we were in our 20's and our guardian angels started working overtime. As Wendy mentioned, Sue had a red Barracuda. She was hot stuff. Yes, Sue was reserved but full of life and a great attitude and a contagious laugh. No negative attitude, no judging on Sue's part. If she was your friend, she had your back.
I'll always remember Sue having grace and a pretty good sense of humor during difficult times. She certainly had a difficult journey here on Earth. I pray she is dancing with loved ones right now. I believe she is at peace. No pain. Home.
We will never forget you Sue. Suzie as my Mom called you. We will always love you. RIP.

Susan will forever live in my heart. She was always a good and kind person, and she was cool too! I still remember going on vacations every year with her siblings and the Spaeths. I remember one year, her and us kids calling out the different license plates we saw on cars going by, and her saying "Massachooosetts" every time she saw plates from Mass. She was always fun, and lived a quiet, happy life. My wife said the last time we saw her in May 2021, Susan looked so vibrant, like a ray of sunshine. We will always miss her. Our deepest condolences go out to the immediate family.

Sue was a kind & gentle soul. May she be in peace in heaven with Kenny & her dad.
Strength Prayer
God of Heaven’s Armies, losing a loved one is very painful. Please strengthen the family and friends of Susan Charter in their inner being. May Christ dwell richly in their hearts that they may find strength and increase in power. Fill their numb souls with hope and lift them when they fall. Grant them the serenity to accept what they cannot change and the courage to face the days ahead. Shelter them with your peace that surpasses all understanding. Be present in their pain and struggle and remind them of your promises. In Jesus, name, we believe and pray, Amen.

My deepest sympathies go out to Sue's family and to everyone who knew her. I never met anyone else like her. Her gentle spirit and kind heart showed in everything she said and did. Her giving and caring ways had never changed from when she was a young girl throughout her entire life. Our hearts are broken and she will be missed terribly. We will never forget you. Rest in peace beautiful sweet Sue.

Sue had a full heart, so kind and gentle. We had many good times in her red barracuda, car load of friends cruising around town. We would reminisce and laugh about it through the years, all the crazy things we did. Sue was blessed with a wonderful family whom she loved very much. My heart goes out to her Mom, sister and brother. I will miss you very much.
