Dear Brian,
I am so sorry to have just (about a month after your sister, Dawn passed away) to find find this very sad news.
Dawn held a special place in my heart for better than 65 years when your family moved to the old neighborhood.
Dawn & I kept in touch, especially at
“Cotter Wine & Liquor”. I remember when she told me the store was being sold and thought I may never see or hear from again. That was until Facebook came along and Dawn noticed one of my posts to Cynthia Aberlie was noticed by Dawn. She called and wrote me offering help in naming those in the old neighborhood. It is only now that I only now came to realise Dawn’s offer to help was just Days before her passing. You should know, as writing this little bit of
info has brought a ton of good old memories of always kind and thoughtful Dawn lived.
Dawn will always be remembered!
