Dear Michele, Carolyn, and Danielle,
I was so sorry to hear the sad news of your Mom's passing. If I could, I'd be with you and the family today to mourn, but also fondly remember Linda--soft-spoken, refined and intelligent.
I cannot think of your lovely Mother without immediately thinking of your Dad, too. They were such a loving young couple when they first met, and became truly devoted parents to you three lovely daughters.
I offer you my deepest sympathy on the loss of your precious Mother.
Love,
Barbara Cassidy Phillips

Michele, Carolyn and Danielle - We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. What a special neighbor and friend she was. We have so many fond memories of our Fourth of July Block Parties with the bicycle parades, and our New Year's Eve Progressive Dinners. Thinking back as well to the St. Martin-Orlando camping trips to Saratoga and Rehoboth Beach Camp Grounds, we had some great times together. Your mom was part of our fun craft group in the neighborhood with our little craft fair for two days each November. Her clothespin Santa ornaments were so special.
We know you will all miss her so much and we ask for peace in your hearts as time goes on.
Sending our love,
Georgette Orlando and Dave Weaving

Michele, Carolyn, Danielle and family - I first met your mom when we worked at IBM almost 40 years ago. She became a good friend over the years and we shared many birthday dinners together. There were usually 4 of us and because my birthday wasn't until March, she often insisted on hosting us for pizza in January.. It became a tradition that won't be the same without her. Once we were vaccinated during Covid, she would leave her car for service at the end of my street and walk down to sit with me in my driveway until it was ready to be picked up. She brought dog biscuits for my dogs and my white terrier mix, Charleigh, would go crazy when your mom showed up. Poor Linda! Charleigh would jump in her lap and want to sit on her during her entire visit. I don't know if it was your mom's perfume or if she reminded Charleigh of her original owner, but she would have gone home with Linda in a heartbeat. I'll miss her very much. Sending hugs to all of you.

Michele, Carolyn, Danielle, I got the news of your mother's death. A friend in Wappingers saw the notice in the paper and called me. I had just been up there visiting and Carolyn you answered when I called her. She always told me to let her know when I was up there. She told me she wouldn't be able to meet because she was ill. I thought a lot of your parents. They were really good neighbors. Besides reading, crafting, and golf let me add she was a very good cook. I have several of her recipes. She would call me during covid to see how I was doing. I don't know how it works in Heaven, but we are told we will meet and know our loves ones. Take comfort that your Mom and Dad are together again. I am thinking of all of Linda's family at this time. Love Martha

Bob and I knew Linda from working at IBM. Our paths crossed many times in different job areas and also at the IBM 5K fun runs/walks. Linda was one of the sweetest people we ever met. And she also knew her stuff -- we knew that if we requested something, it would get done.....pronto! Linda was very helpful to me in 2009 when I found out my mom had early stage Alzheimer's and shared her caregiving wisdom and advice (mom passed away in 2015). Treasure the precious memories..... In deepest sympathy to Linda's family from Bob and Lynne Kopac, Poughkeepsie, NY

Heartfelt condolences to Linda’s family. I am so sorry for your loss. We met on bus tours and enjoyed spending time together in many interesting places. We would meet from time to time at the movies. The last time I saw her was during the summer while shopping at Adams. She was a kind and loving lady who loved her family; they were often the topic of conversation. She will be missed. Love and prayers, Patricia Nash-Wohlfahrt

We heard the bad news. Wish we could attend, but most of our family are out of town. She was a really nice lady and a good friend to our parents and will be missed.
