Obituary of Linda Rose St. Martin
Linda Rose. St. Martin, a resident of the Town of Poughkeepsie, NY entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 27, 2023, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
She was 81. Daughter of the late Carl J. and Mildred Koltko Casagrande she was born November 1, 1941 in Derby Connecticut. She was a graduate of Quinnipiac College.
On June 6, 1964, she married Richard D. St. Martin at St. Augustine Church in Seymor, Ct. He predeceased her on September 2, 2003.
A local resident since 1968, Linda had a 33 year career as an Executive Assistant with IBM in Poughkeepsie and also worked for Manpower.
She was a dedicated volunteer and co-leader of the food pantry at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Poughkeepsie as well as an active member the Coterie Club. Linda enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren as well as reading, crafting and playing golf. She was loved by her family and friends and will be in our hearts always.
Survivors include her daughters Michele (John) Quimby of West Chester, OH, Carolyn (Arthur“Skip”) Ryan of Red Hook, NY, Danielle St. Martin of Cohoes, NY, grandchildren Arthur and Natalie, Ryan and Ethan and Aidan Quimby; her sister-in-law Lorraine Noonan of Waterbury CT; several nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. A Mass of Christian Burial will be the next day on Monday, March 6, 2023, at 10:00am at Holy Trinity Church, 775 Main Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Burial is to follow at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
