Carol was like a grandma to our children close to 20 years. When they were little, she always gave them a little treat bag for every single holiday, made them tomato and onion salad when the tomatoes were ready to throw out at the shop, she always made her signature banana bread adding in cherries and coconut on occasion which was (Roland’s favorite) and was simply a fantastic cook.
I always new Carol was at work when I walked in because the place had already been tidied up, bleached counters, sink and so forth. She and my husband had a great relationship and she treated him like a son, no if ands or buts about it. They both loved the hard crossword puzzles and would often call one another when they were stump to n a clue.
I could go on and on, but I will simply say what a lose of an incredibly strong, smart and family loving woman. we will miss your holiday phone calls and texts. Thank you for loving our family.
