I worked with Bob when he volunteered to help with the Arlington Pedestrian Plan that my organization (the Dutchess County Transportation Council) did, and later with a parking study for Arlington that the Town and BID requested. He brought so much energy to the work—he kept up a stream of cheerful conversation and would randomly burst into song and we walked along the sidewalks and through parking lots, collecting data. Though his work directing the BID and his many volunteer positions, he was deeply invested in making the neighborhood better and willing to do whatever was needed. He will be missed!

Umpired numerous games with Bob. Great to work with - a real gentleman. After ending softball officiating, i talked with Bob when we met at Marist basketball games. The last time I saw Bob as when he told me of his diagnosis. Since I missed most of the season after knee surgery, that was the last time we met. He was an amazing asset to the community and to our umpire group. He will be missed.

Bob and I were part of the Tuesday Dutchess Outreach Lunch Box volunteer crew. As we sliced and diced together each week in the kitchen, we talked about family, retirement and plans for the future. Bob always brought a smile to work and he often serenaded us as we prepared lunch. Bob had a big heart and put that into action with his many acts of kindness. I will miss him greatly but feel
blessed to have known him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and the many people whose lives he touched. May his memory be a blessing.

Very sad to read of Bob's passing. I met Bob many years ago at the Dutchess County YMCA. We enjoyed running together and with others, especially from the YMCA down through Vassar College Farm. My deepest condolences to his family and close friends on his passing.

I first met Bob when I started my career as a Police Officer with the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department . Throughout the many years whenever our paths crossed, he would always have a positive word about our department , smile and offer a handshake . I was fortunate to work with Bob for several years on the Arlington Improvement District Committee which he led. He was truly dedicated in service to our community. Very proud to have known him . A great loss . May he rest in peace

With a ready smile and always a helping hand getting up those canopies for the Arlington Farmers Market, Bob was there with a smile on his face and a song and dance to boot. You were a treasure to the community and we will miss you.

Bob was such a joy to work with at Dutchess Outreach. His zest for life beamed with his delightful singing as he volunteered and his compassion to assist those less fortunate than himself. He will forever be in our hearts. May he rest in God's peace.

Bob touched many lives including those of my 3 children and myself. He was always ready with a smile, a sincere hello hug and an uncanny ability to remember names. He does his surname justice.

Bob it breaks my heart to hear the news, you had such a positive impact on so many people's lives throughout the years. Endless hours at Holy Trinity, kitchen work, reffing, coaching. I spent many hours there with you like so many other people did just trying to help out. Your legacy and memory will live on in the hearts of every kid who walked through those gym doors. I'll always remember my time there with you. Love you Bob

I lovingly called Bob " Uncle Bob". He was my cyo coach at 13 years old and eventually a great supporter when i ran and won my campaign for county legislator. Bob and I were neighbors and would always be jogging and always invite me for a run. I will miss seeing him. I am sad but thankful he was in my life from a young boy to an adult and father.

Bob was a amazing man. He never judged a person he accepted everyone with open arms. He gave us as kids a safe space to play basketball but always taught respect and to have fun. He always told us how he would run miles and we didn’t believe him until we would see him out. I’m thankful I got too cross paths with a great soul.

Bob’s volunteer work with kids was inspiring. I played basketball for him for multiple seasons at Holy Trinity. Throughout all that time on the court together, I think I only saw him take three jump shots. All three were three-pointers. He swished each one and immediately yelled, “Straight in boys!” Thank you, Bob, for everything you did for the Holy Trinity community, the Arlington community, and all the other people we don’t know about whom you humbly helped.
