Ken and I would like to offer our condolences to the family of Joan … I always enjoyed chatting with Joan at Cadys in Pleasant Valley and would occasionally stop by the family farm to say hello… I would always ask how Joan was doing when I ran into one of her family members…
May Joan Rest In Heavenly Peace❤️

My most heartfelt condolences to the Sinon family.
I had the wonderful good fortune of having Mrs. Sinon as one of my nursing instructors at BOCES, 44 years ago. She was completely dedicated to her students, giving 100% of herself with every class. I still remember how she taught us with such kind and gentle care of every patient assigned to us. What a blessing she was to all of her students.
I would later become very close friends with Mrs. Sinon's daughter, Colleen, as she followed in her Mother's footsteps, also becoming a nurse. We both worked on the old "Circle 3" at Vassar Hospital, back in the 80's.
Mrs. Sinon would often tell her students about her life on Sinon Farm, her kids, and the goat that kept jumping up on the roof of the house! We loved to hear her stories!
For all of the students in my class, Mrs. Sinon will always be remembered for the high standards she insisted on, by her warm and loving ways and by her obvious love for mankind.
Thank you for it all, Mrs. Sinon. God bless you Colleen and all of your family.
