Although this picture of him is fuzzy, I have a clear memory of his sharp sense of humor and his overwhelming joy of being a father. Our kids grew up together and had many birthdays together. Whether relaxing by the pool in Hyde Park, picking apples in Highland or listening to him talk about his latest real estate deal in Pawling or some other Hudson Valley community, Dave was always a dynamic force of life. I'm sure his presence will be grealy missed. To Carolyn, Jennifer, and Michael: Ellen and I are so sorry for your loss! May his memory be a blessing!

I’m so sad to hear of Dave’s passing. My heart is breaking for all of you. We have many happy memories of spending time with the Bersak family, especially when Jennifer and Michael were kids. Remember apple picking? That was one of many family outings in which Dave demonstrated his love of family. We laughed a lot and always enjoyed sharing experiences of kids growing up and then seeing our grandchildren and spoiling them.
So sorry we’re not able to pay our respects in person.
