I loved Katie O'Donnell. I met her when I interviewed at Bank Street College for a position in the literacy department and she hired me. I don't think that I ever met anyone as gracious and intelligent as Katie. It is a rare combination, which she had in spades. Anytime and any place when there was an opportunity to be with Katie, I was there. I have missed her for many years now (since I left NYC), but she will always be in my heart. Susan Stires

I met Kay through our mutual friend,Marion Keenan. Whenever I Visited New York , I made it a point to see Kay…lunch, dinner, theater, strolling, whatever suited us…she was gracious to let my husband, Tom, and I stay in her apartment when she was away and we were in town..I had many summers in Chautauqua with Kay… she was such a delightful friend..always upbeat and positive. I will treasure my memories of her. May her sweet soul rest in Eternal Peace!
